Is my Word document uploaded to a server?
Yes, your file is temporarily processed on our secure server solely for the purpose of conversion. It is never stored, shared, or retained after the conversion is complete. The converted PDF is returned immediately and all data is discarded.
What file formats are supported?
Currently we support .docx (Word 2007 and later). Legacy .doc files are not supported. If you have a .doc file, open it in Microsoft Word or Google Docs and save it as .docx first.
What is the maximum file size?
You can convert Word documents up to 20MB in size. The vast majority of DOCX files are well under this limit.
Will my formatting be preserved in the PDF?
Text content, paragraphs, headings, and basic structure are preserved. Complex formatting like custom fonts, text boxes, images, tables, and multi-column layouts may be simplified. For purely text-heavy documents, the output will be very clean and readable.
Can I convert password-protected Word files?
Password-protected .docx files cannot be converted. Please remove the password protection in Microsoft Word before uploading.
